Omer Yilmaz, MD, PhD
The goal of the Yilmaz lab is to understand how adult stem cells and their microenvironment adapt to diverse diets in the context of tissue regeneration, aging and cancer initiation.
Together with the Yilmaz lab we are investigating immune surveillance of intestinal stem cells and colorectal cancer stem cells.
Ya-chieh Hsu, PhD
The goal of the Hsu lab is to discover the principles and molecular nature of cell-cell interactions governing development, regeneration, and injury repair. We use the mammalian skin as our model, a highly assessable organ with diverse cell types and multiple populations of somatic stem cells.
Together with the Hsu lab we are investigating molecular and cellular mechanisms controlling immune privilege of skin stem cells.
Stephanie Dougan, PhD
The goal of the Dougan lab is to develop immunotherapy approaches to treat pancreatic cancer.
Together with the Dougan lab we are investigating immune surveillance of metastatic cells in pancreatic cancer.
